Marlborough Pinot Noir tends to be a little lighter and fruitier than the wines of Central Otago or Burgundy. Always let the wine sit in a glass or decanter a little while before drinking to bring out the flavours.

Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
Score: 4 Stars

“This has a soft, open and bright fruited nose of dark red berry fruits with a gentle underlay of herbs and coolish stalk elements. Attractive red florals emerge in the glass. Medium-bodied, lush and succulent red berry fruits feature on the palate, with some herbal nuances alongside red floral notes. The mouthfeel is supple with soft tannin extraction and fresh, lacy acidity enlivening a moderately concentrated core with some firmness and good linearity. The wine carries through to a dry, tight, lingering finish. This is a supple and succulent dark red fruited Pinot Noir with a soft herbal underlay and a dry line.”

2 reviews for 2012 Tupari Pinot Noir

  1. 5 out of 5

Classic Marlborough pinot noir, stronger fruit flavours than you’d find from other regions and appealing to a wide range of tastes. We had Tupari wines at our wedding and we (and our guests) couldn’t have been happier.

Most of my family enjoy Pinot Noir and of course have tried many different well known brands but once I sampled Tupari’s there’s no going back.
Just brilliant and I always have a bottle on hand to share with family, friends and overseas guests. This is a great way to show off what Marlborough and Tupari has to offer and of course sit back and relax with a glass in hand.
    Incredible flavours to treasure.
