Food Match
The fruity nature of our Pinot Noir creates versatile food wine and is the perfect wine to open when one of you is eating meat and the other fish.
Try with: Grilled tuna or salmon, earthy veg such as mushrooms or beetroot, duck pancakes, pulled pork, roast chicken or lamb, pork sausages, rack of lamb, rare fillet steak, BBQ venison or perfect for a summer BBQ.
Cheesy match: Creamy cheeses such as brie or camembert a mild cheese made from sheep’s milk.
Helpful tip
Marlborough Pinot Noir tends to be a little lighter and fruitier than the wines of Central Otago or Burgundy. Always let the wine sit in a glass or decanter a little while before drinking to bring out the flavours.
